✈️ THE SMARTER DEAL

Morocco for 45,000 American Airlines Miles Round Trip

Casablanca for 45,000 American Airlines miles round trip? This is one of those award deals worth checking before it disappears.

Award availability is showing Royal Air Maroc flights bookable through American Airlines AAdvantage for just 22,500 miles one way or 45,000 miles round trip to Casablanca (CMN).

The deal isn't limited to a single date or airport. Availability has been spotted across multiple U.S. gateways, including New York-JFK, Washington-Dulles (IAD) and Miami (MIA), with dates appearing across multiple periods.

✈️ One example

For Dec. 4–12, a nonstop Royal Air Maroc itinerary from New York-JFK to Casablanca is showing:

45,000 American Airlines miles + $60 round trip

The flight takes approximately 6 hours and 50 minutes and is operated by Royal Air Maroc.

Google Flights is also showing the cash fare at around $924 round trip for this example, with the fare currently about $302 below its usual price.

Why this deal stands out

• 22,500 AA miles one way
• 45,000 AA miles round trip
• Royal Air Maroc nonstop from select U.S. gateways
• Multiple dates available
• Availability from JFK, IAD and MIA
• Casablanca is an easy starting point for exploring Morocco

If Morocco is on your list, check your dates before transferring or buying miles. Award availability can disappear or change quickly.

❝

The smarter take: 45,000 AA miles for a round trip to Morocco gives AAdvantage members a relatively straightforward way to turn miles into a long-haul international trip—especially if you can find the nonstop Royal Air Maroc availability.

Chase Is Offering a 70% Bonus on Marriott Transfers

Chase Ultimate Rewards members can currently get 70% more Marriott Bonvoy points when transferring points to Marriott—a potentially useful opportunity for an upcoming hotel stay.

The limited-time promotion runs through October 15, 2026, according to the offer shown in the Chase transfer portal.

Here’s how the bonus works

The normal transfer rate is 1 Chase Ultimate Rewards point = 1 Marriott Bonvoy point.

With the 70% bonus:

• 10,000 Chase points → 17,000 Marriott points
• 20,000 Chase points → 34,000 Marriott points
• 30,000 Chase points → 51,000 Marriott points
• 40,000 Chase points → 68,000 Marriott points

For example, a transfer of 46,082 Chase points would generate approximately 78,339 Marriott Bonvoy points after the bonus.

The promotion runs from Sept. 15 through 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 15, 2026. Chase's terms shown in the offer state that bonus points will be awarded by Marriott within seven days after the transfer is completed.

The important part

A transfer bonus doesn't automatically make transferring points a good deal. Chase points can be used across multiple airline and hotel partners, while Marriott points are locked into the Bonvoy program once transferred.

The best use is to identify the Marriott property and award price first, then transfer only the number of Chase points needed.

❝

The smarter take: A 70% bonus can dramatically increase the size of your Marriott balance, but the hotel reservation should come first and the transfer second.
